Hello world

“The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.” I came across that quotation from Dorothy Parker the other day at 364 Quotes in 2011. I’ve tried my hand at a few blogs in the past. They all fizzled for one reason (restaurant reviews are expensive) or another (politics gets tedious). I have a ton of interests. I’ve often thought of curiosity as the cure for a lot of things. Curious people tend to be generous with their time and resources. Selfish and self-centered people tend to be incurious. People with good relationships tend to be curious. People with no relationships tend to be incurious. Obviously, curiosity is the cure for ignorance. It’s the cure for loneliness (which, incidentally, is often called boredom by insecure people). It’s the cure for narrow-mindedness and judgmentalism.

I’m excited to see where this new little project goes. I’m notorious for not following through with stuff like this, so don’t be surprised if this is the only post on the site for awhile. On the plus side, I have WordPress apps on my phone and iPad, so I can share with you on a whim. We’ll see what happens.

More to come…
